Re-Design of The Jungle Book - Kaa's Hunting
I made this hand-bound book by going through the whole book making process, from the rough but simple illustration, formatting the type to the hand screen printed leaves on the buckram cover. I wanted to recreate the traditional buckram book but adapt it onto my style and twist, by adding my illustrations and the unique screen-printed cover design.
Full Colours Zine - Brexit and the Rise of Racial Abuse
I researched this topic and wanted to create an informative zine about the injustices and racial inequalities in the UK after Brexit. I illustrated this zine with real comments from the public, stories, statistics and news reports. Although it was a serious topic, I made it more stimulating by adding bright colours and illustrative infographics.
A Hindu Home Zine
Growing up, I had noticed that my household and lifestyle was very different than the regular western experience. So I created this zine by illustrating the narrative of an outsider's perspective looking in an Asian household. I had featured some of my own personal lifestyles that I have thought of when living out at university and with my very white course
